Abstract

Melanie Ghosh, coordinator of multicultural affairs at Bates College, was one of 30,000 participants at the Non-Governmental Organization conference outside Beijing. Ghosh hopes to take the insight gained at the conference and apply it to her own activism. She hopes to meet with the other Maine delegates and plan a public presentation to share their insights.
