Abstract

Architect John Morris of Camden has proposed a 52-unit apartment building for Cedar Street in Belfast, the first of several new housing projects anticipated as an outgrowth of MBNA's plan to employ several hundred people in a new Belfast office. Around 650 Belfast residents have signed a petition expressing outrage over the proposed complex. The group Neighbors for Neighbors is looking for a zoning change to decrease the allowed density in the area, but that is unlikely to affect the Morris application.
