Abstract
Profile of James Griffith of Warren, a Maine State Trooper who died in the line of duty on April 15, 1996, at age 34. Griffith, a poet, was a regular at meetings of the Live Poets Society in Rockland, and in the fall of 1995 won a poetry slam at Granny Killams' Industrial Drink House in Portland.
