Abstract

Former state planning director Richard Silkman, now a private consultant for a consortium of paper mills and other industrial energy users, says that Central Maine Power Co. (CMP) shouldn't get any of the $95 million rate hike it has requested. The Office of the Public Advocate believes CMP should receive a $22 million hike, while the Public Utilities Commission has proposed a $41 million increase.
