Abstract
"Maine Perspectives" piece on the effort to shift Maine Medicaid recipients to managed care. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maine chose not to bid on the final contract. NYLCare, a division of New York Life, said the program would not be particularly profitable, but bid on it because it believed it had a responsibility to serve all segments of Maine's population.
