Abstract
Club 63 Dance and Eat of Houlton received the town's first and only nudity permit on January 22, but owner Frank Draus had the permit suspended after exotic dancers violated the town ordinance governing such dance. The Houlton nightclub had been staging exotic dance shows three nights a week for eight years, and Draus said his business base had been eliminated. Nashville North of Houlton didn't qualify for a nudity permit due to its downtown location, and had its entertainment license pulled after a performer's pastie slipped.
