Abstract
"Travel" piece on the author's adventures aboard the Mary Day and the Stephen Tabor, two of Maine's windjammers. Maine's windjammers are the largest fleet of traditional sailing vessels in North America. Seventeen tall ships, from 64 feet long to 132 feet long, operate out of Camden, Rockland and Rockport.
