Abstract

Legislators who must vote on Gov. McKernan's nomination of Lewis Perl as head of the Public Utilities Commission are looking into possible conflict of interest because Perl's consulting firm has done work for Central Maine Power Co. (CMP). Therefore he might have to abstain from all proceedings involving CMP.
