Abstract
Profile of Caitlin Hunter, who, with husband Brad, runs Capercaillie, also know as the Appleton Creamery. The Hunters makes goat cheese, and last year they produced 2,500 pounds of cheese from their herd. Other goat cheese makers in Maine include Marjorie Lupien of Mystique Goat Cheese, Barbara Brooks of Seal Cove Farm and Penny Duncan of York Hill Farm.
