Abstract

The Baxter State Park Authority has voted to continue the ban on motorcycles in the 300,000-acre park. The Park Use Committee is also considering the idea of banning the use of all private vehicles in the park, which would render the area closer to the "natural wild state" which park creator Percival P. Baxter saw as the ideal condition.
