Abstract

Rite Aid plans to expand its presence in Blue Hill, where it currently has an 1,800-square-foot store in the village. Many in the community believe the company will put in an 11,000-square-foot store on South Street, an emerging commercial strip. Residents want the company to stay in the downtown, and around 400 people signed a petition. Company representatives and residents have held two meetings on the matter.
