Abstract

Bangor Hydro-Electric Co.'s Basin Mills project, which would involve a system of dams on the lower Penobscot, has won conditional approval from the Maine Department of Environmental Protection. The project still faces review by the Board of Environmental Protection, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Public Utilities Commission.
