Abstract

Karl and Lisa Pitcher, owner of Wallace's Market in Friendship, last week purchased at auction the Friendship Market for $65,000. Karl Pitcher said he wanted to protect his business, pointing out that in the past Friendship Market and Wallace's Market were in direct competition. The former owners of Friendship Market, Ian Zieba and Kellie Lord, disappeared in July 1997 after alienating some customers.
