Abstract

An examination of two possible violations of Maine's Freedom of Access Act. The Howland Board of Selectmen decided by a telephone poll among themselves to close muddy and unpassable roads in the town. In Rumford, the SAD 43 Board of Directors held a series of private meetings to discuss complaints about the school system, one resident at a time, behind closed doors. Details.
