Profile of Pat LaMarche, 37, of Freeport, former director of the Children's Miracle Network. LaMarche, an independent who has ties with the Green Party, is running for governor. LaMarche has propose a health care plan that would cover every Maine resident. Her FairCare program would help welfare recipients go back to school to become child-care providers.
