Abstract

Through August 16, the state recorded 19 days when ozone reached unhealthy levels, including seven days in Acadia National Park. Many in Bar Harbor's business community are seemingly unaware of the unhealthy air, and are unwilling to broadcast what they consider to be bad news to the tourists on whom they rely for their livelihood.
