Abstract
A look at the inner workings of the Portland Chamber Music Festival. The artistic directors, Jennifer Elowitch, a violinist who lives in Boston, and Dena Levine, a pianist from New York, aim to integrate new with established repertoire in an informal setting. This year, in an effort to attract more concertgoers, ticket prices have been cut for the performances at the Ludke Auditorium at the Westbrook College campus of the University of New England.
