Abstract
"Maine Interview" piece with David Loxterkamp, 46, about the relationship between community and architecture. Loxterkamp, a family physician who moved to Belfast in 1984, is the author of "A Measure of My Days," a book about his medical practice that received national attention following its publication two years ago. An active member of the community, Loxtercamp serves on the district school board,and has organized a campaign to celebrate Belfast's historic architecture, in particular the city's prized American Greek Revival buildings from the 1840s and '50s.
