Abstract
An increasing number of parents claim they are being falsely accused of sex abuse by their own children, after the children allegedly recover their memory of long-suppressed abuse through therapy. Recently the Philadelphia-based False Memory Syndrome Foundation located a number of parents in Maine who claim they are victims of false allegations of abuse, and the author spent time with that group as the recounted their experiences.
