Abstract
"Periodic Mood Swings" piece by Jason Wilkins about Jack Smink, an Elvis Presley impersonator, who played the Cumberland County Civic Center on the occassion of the 22nd anniversary of Presley's scheduled appearance at the center. Smink, with the help of a generous offering of free tickets to anyone who would accept them, turned out a respectable crowd of about 1,500 to watch him do his thing. Wilkins' friend, Brian Giles, an actor and stand-up comic, did the opening for the concert.
