Abstract
"News & Issues" piece on a deal involving $3.2 million that the University of Maine will receive in return for making Coca-Cola the exclusive soft drink, juice and flavored water purveyor on campus. UMaine spokesman John Diamond said the $3 million in cash and $249,000 in goods and services will go into the Education and General Fund and will not affect the biennial appropriation from the Legislature.
