Editorial on several articles about a 1996 private investigation of U.S. Senatorial candidate Susan Collins that was conducted by Robert Norris and published in the Bangor Daily News (BDN). The articles, written by BDN columnist John S. Day, were the subject of a lawsuit brought by Norris that was recently settled.
