Abstract
Kennebec Valley CoHousing has selected a 199-acre tract of pasture, orchard and woodland overlooking Lake Maranacook in Readfield as the site of a 24-unit cooperative housing community, one of six in Maine. Cohousing is a form of home ownership with roots in Denmark and is based on a sense of community and neighborhood.
