Abstract
Profile of Jackie Webber of Township 17 in Aroostook County, who was quickly endorsed by the Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee to the Land Use Regulation Commission. Webber is Gov. Angus King's latest nominee to the seven-member board that oversees the 10-million-acre unorganized territory. She replaces Marilyn Tourtelotte, who left after being named manager of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway. Webber and her husband own Web's Brokerage, selling table-stock potatoes to Eastern markets. She is a consultant to the Aroostook County Action Program, where she was previously a senior manager of information systems.
