Editorial noting the shortage of workers in southern Maine this summer and urging state officials to initiate training programs for both business owners and employees, as has been suggested by David Vail of Bowdoin College, who says the tourism industry should get smart and start training and recruiting workers with decent wages, challenging work experiences and the promise of learning new skills.
