Abstract

The Land Use Regulation Commission voted 4-2 to approve an expansion of the Penobscot Outdoor Center Inc. whitewater rafting facility located outside the main entrance to Baxter State Park. The vote, which was against staff recommendations, allows Penobscot Outdoor to expand accommodations by 40 percent to 252 persons per day. Details.
