"News & Issues" piece on the 18 legislative committees that were authorized to meet up to once a month between May 11 and the beginning of the current 120th session. The interim meetings were not mandatory, and committees varied widely in how often they took advantage of the $150,000 allocated for per diem costs. With details of how some of the committees responded to the opportunity.
