Fred Kirschenmann, who works a 3,100-acre organic farm in North Dakota, was recently in the state to address the University of Maine at Orono's sustainable agriculture program. Kirschenmann says organic farming can be sustainable and produce food as cheaply as possible, but what is needed is a new set of agricultural values. Details.
