Abstract
"News & Issues" piece on a legislative bill that would make Maine the first state in the nation to adopt an anti-sweatshop purchasing code, requiring state suppliers to treat workers ethically. The bill is a result of a study group created last session and chaired by Sen. Peggy Pendleton, D-Scarborough.
