Abstract
"News & Issues" piece on the revival of Gorden's Market in Union, which burned in August 1997. Owners Alice and Steve Trudel decided not to rebuild. Then, with encouragement and financial assistance from local residents, Gary Sukeforth, 41, stepped forward. Sukeforth, an Appleton native with a degree in agricultural economics from Penn State, now employs 15 people, eight of them full-time, at his 4,500-square-foot Common Market at the Union Common.
