Abstract

"News & Issues" piece on a deal between the Natural Resources Council of Maine, Maine's Department of Environmental Protection, and FPL Energy, owners of the Wyman Station plant on Cousins Island in Yarmouth, that would allow FPL to meet more stringent nitrogen oxide standards with the least expensive of two emission control technologies, and without allowing FPL to earn pollution credits through emissions trading.
