Abstract
"Art News" piece reporting on Gov. Angus King's Commission on the Maine State Quarter Design. The commission, chaired by Dale McCormick, the state treasurer, has received almost 200 drawings and King recently selected four finalists. The final design concept will be selected at the discretion of the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury. Maine's state quarter is to be released in 2003.
