Abstract

State legislators spent most of the last legislative session working on a $1 billion state budget deficit, leaving most of the other issues confronting that body for consideration over the next four months. The Legislature this session will consider education finance, welfare reform, health-care reform, utility rate relief and legislative restructuring, among other issues. Details.
