Abstract

"News" piece on days in which ozone readings in Maine topped 85 parts per billion at one or more of 13 monitoring stations in the state. So far this year, 11 such days have been recorded by the Department of Environmental Protection. The summer of 1991 saw the worst air during the 1990s when 17 high ozone days were recorded.
