Abstract

State representative Susan Farnsworth, D-Hallowell, has proposed legislation which would add Temporal Mandibular Jaw implants to the list of exemptions regarding the statute of limitations on medical malpractice suits. The current law prohibits medical malpractice suits after three years from the date of injury, but the implants frequently take longer than the three years to cause problems. Details.
