Abstract
"News" piece on Lenard Kaye, a new professor at the University of Maine, has developed a center on aging that will be the first in Maine's university system to provide critical research into the state's aging population. Fifteen percent of Mainers are over 65 years old. Kaye, 51, claims the center will improve the lives of Maine's older residents by focusing on applicable research and evaluating organizations that care for senior citizens.
