Abstract
"Cover Story" piece on the University of Maine Cooperative Extension's Relief Milker Training Program, which is sponsored by Agri-Mart, Garelick Farms and Oakhurst Dairy. The one-day program seeks to educate volunteers and provide much-needed support to Maine's 450 dairies and approximately 41,000 dairy cattle. The first formal training took place in March 2001.
