"News" piece on state wildlife biologist Craig McLaughlin, overseer of the Canada lynx research program, who is leaving Maine for a job in Utah. McLaughlin was also the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife's (IFW) bear project leader and is leaving "quite a void," according to Wally Jacubas, head of the IFW mammal group. With details about the lynx research program, which has run out of money. Biologists have live-trapped and radio-collared 27 adult lynx and documented eight litters of kittens in the Allagash region.
