Central Maine Power Co. (CMP) is selling some of its land holdings, including a 14,899-acre parcel in Bowtown Township. The utility has contacted the Trust for Public Land, paper companies and other major landowners to see if they are interested in acquiring the township. CMP's generation system includes 43,182 acres, most of it water. Details.
