University of Southern Maine President Richard Pattenaude last week announced a plan to cut the university budget by $1.8 million, and part of the proposal included suspending the search for a director of the Wolfe's Neck Program on the Environment and Society. Harris Gleckman, on a leave of absence from the United Nations Department of International Policy, has been the program's interim director. Details.
