Abstract

Details on the January 6 meeting between officials with the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands and a citizens advisory committee, which was held to assess management activities of the past year and decide what is needed in the coming year along the West Branch of the Penobscot River. Much of the meeting focused on Lobster Lake, a heavily-used Class 1-A lake. Other discussion involved shelters on Gero Island and another picnic site for whitewater rafters on the West Branch.
