Abstract

Adam Giguere, who disappeared shortly after being arrested at the Orono post office when he took possession of a package containing 1,000 doses of LSD in October 1991, was returned to Maine last week after being arrested in British Columbia for shoplifting. Giguere, 23, who now calls himself Esau Messiah, faces a maximum sentence of 20 years for possession of LSD, and goes on trial July 25 in Bangor.
