Abstract

Leslie B. Otten last week announced that he intends to purchase Sugarbush Resort in Vermont, and does not rule out a rail link between the resort and his other two holdings, Sunday River in Bethel and Attitash/Bear Peak Resort in New Hampshire. Otten said he hopes that the purchase of Sugarloaf/USA by SKI Ltd. will stop the attack ads Sugarloaf has aimed at Sunday River in recent years, and will allow the ski industry to speak with a unified voice.
