Abstract
Peter Talmage, owner of Talmage Engineering in Kennebunkport, has designed alternative energy systems for clients throughout northern New England. He last used commercial utility power in 1975, and his house has some 400 square feet of glass for passive solar heating and a photovoltaic energy system of 26 modules generating 1,600 watts.
