Profile of Edward A. Myers, 77, of South Bristol, a pioneering aquaculturist, waterfront commentator, local wharfinger, supply minister, peace activist, handicapped advocate, prison missionary and registered Republican. Meyers, who writes a column for the Island Institute's newspaper Working Waterfront, pioneered mussel farming in Maine when he took out the state's first aquaculture license in 1974.
