Abstract

The annual Fisherman's Forum in Rockland was the scene of fishermen criticism of the scientific data that shows that the bluefin tuna population in western Atlantic waters is being overfished. The fishermen contend that visual sightings of bluefin confirm their belief that the population has stabilized and that the U.S. share of the bluefin catch should be increased. Details.
