Abstract
Police, school, and government officials met at the Reiche Library on April 27th to discuss the future use of the space, which will no longer operate as a library branch due to budget cuts. The group agreed that the space would be a suitable location for the West End Community Policing Center, which is currently located on Danforth Street. The West End Neighborhood Association lobbied for the move to the Reiche site a year ago, but concerns were raised about locating the center on school grounds. Police Chief James Craig overcame those hesitations.
