Description
Interior view of Stevens Avenue postal substation, 469 Stevens Avenue, Deering Center. Mary Bennett, manager of the post office, helps a customer with a postal transaction. Bennett also sold greeting cards, post cards, and novelty items. Her husband, Emery, conducted his real estate business at the back of the store.
