Description
Views of True Buddha Society of Maine, 551 U.S. Route 1, Scarborough.
The Buddhist center opened in 1998 as the first Buddhist temple in Greater Portland, serving a community of ethnic Chinese Buddhists from a variety of Asian nations, including China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia.
Master Lian Ch'uan, in gold robes and sacred headdress, is in the lower left photo.
