Views of Immanuel Baptist Church, 156 High Street.
Left image: High-angle exterior view of the church, from north (taken from the Eastland Hotel). High Street at left; Deering Street at right.
Right image: Interior view of church nave, facing the entrance and large stained-glass windows.
The construction of the church was completed in 1928. Immanuel represented a merging of Free Baptist Churches in Portland, dating back to 1810.
